A Licensed Clinical Psychologist, residing in Hawaii since 1996, I relocated from Chicago, IL where I obtained a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Adler School. I attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana for graduate school to earn a Master of Science in Education degree. I studied art history, fine arts, arts education, and went on to teach the arts in suburban Chicago . As Art Department Chair at Oak Park and River Forest High School in Oak Park IL. , I enjoyed painting, photography, and film. I travel to Japan, Eastern and Western Europe, Canada, Mexico, Africa, Asia, and Australia. I hold a Certificate of Professional Qualification (CPQ) designation in Psychology#4099. I was privileged to serve as an appointee to the Hawaii State Board of Psychology at the request of the Govenor, Linda Lingle, from 2004-2008.

Located primarily in West Hawaii on the Kona side of the Big Island, I enjoy a private practice in scenic upcountry Waimea, working respectfully and confidentially with a diverse population. Individuals, couples and adolescents are seen regularly for consultation and psychotherapy using Adlerian, Cognitive-Behavioral, Psychodynamic modalities and hypnosis for stress reduction.
Corporate clients comprise an adjunct and important part of the practice.
